Reservation Policy

Breadloaf Mountain Lodge & Cottages follows local resort/hotel deposit and cancellation policies. When you reserve a room/cottage, we agree to turn away other guests for the particular space and we guarantee to hold your reservation for the number of day's requested. You in turn agree to pay a deposit of one night’s lodging or one half of booking. Receipt of that payment is confirmation of your reservation. The remaining balance will be charged to your credit card approximately 15 days before arrival. Reservations made within 15 days of your scheduled arrival date must be paid in full at the time of reservation.

Cancellation Policy

Since we are a small Inn, cancellations are detrimental to our survival and because of this we have implemented the following cancellation policy. If you cancel your reservation 45 days or more prior to your arrival we will refund your deposit minus a 20% service charge. If you cancel your reservation 44 days to 16 days prior to your arrival then we will apply the full amount of your deposit toward a future reservation anytime within a 12 month period from the original reservation date. If you cancel within 15 days your deposit is forfeited and no refund will be issued. If you need to depart earlier than your confirmed reservation dates, you are responsible for the full length of your stay. All cancellations must be made in writing. We cannot accommodate pets in our rooms.
